TheLandGuard acts as an intermediary platform and does not own, sell, or rent any properties listed on the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listings.

3 User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion.

4 Property Listings

4.1 Listing Requirements

When listing a property on TheLandGuard, you agree to:

• Only list properties you own or are authorized to list
• Provide accurate and truthful information about the property
• Upload genuine photos of the actual property
• Set fair and accurate pricing
• Keep listing information up to date
• Respond promptly to inquiries from potential buyers/renters

4.2 Prohibited Listings

The following types of listings are strictly prohibited:

• Fraudulent or misleading property information
• Properties with disputed ownership or legal issues
• Duplicate listings of the same property
• Listings that violate local laws or regulations
• Properties used for illegal activities

5 User Conduct

When using TheLandGuard, you agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Engage in any fraudulent activities

6 Payments & Fees

6.1 Service Fees

TheLandGuard may charge fees for certain premium services, including featured listings, promoted properties, and advertising packages. All fees will be clearly displayed before you complete any transaction.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods including mobile money, bank transfers, and card payments. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

6.3 Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued at our discretion for services not rendered. Premium listing fees are generally non-refundable once the listing has been published.

7 Intellectual Property

All content on TheLandGuard, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the overall design of the Platform, is the property of TheLandGuard or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our express written permission.

By posting content on TheLandGuard (such as property photos and descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• TheLandGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of property listings
• We are not responsible for transactions between users
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months

9 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harmful conduct towards other users
• Upon your request to delete your account

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.

10 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you via email or through the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
